ReplyDeleteWhich part in the process do you consider the most difficult one?
Hi Jan
DeleteWell, it´s a good question and there is no simple answer to it.
The thing is that you change your perspective as you learn. In the beginning you focus on the details, like the making of buttonholes, which is difficult.
Then you move on to trying to understand the perfect balance between the shaping of the canvas and the cloth, which is diffficult.
However, putting in the sleeves are probably considered the single most difficult part.
But in the end the big picture is the challenge, Any monkey can learn how to make beautifull buttonholes, but to make a perfect suit it takes three persons :
The Customer ,the Cutter and the Tailor . The difference between a great suit and a Masterpiece is in how well the Cutter can read the Customers wishes, lifestyle and personallity and translate it to the cutting and making.
When these three things are joined together there is only one word to descibe it : Harmony
